The wait is over—Chamberlain Coffee has officially gone brick-and-mortar! The cult-favorite coffee brand, founded by Emma Chamberlain, is stepping out of the digital space and into real life with its first-ever café, opening January 30th at Westfield Century City. But this isn’t just another coffee shop—it’s a community hub, a social experience, and a testament to the brand’s meteoric rise in the industry.
Emma Chamberlain: From YouTube Star to Coffee Mogul
Emma Chamberlain has been a Gen Z trailblazer since her rise to fame on YouTube in the late 2010s & one of my personal favorite influencers to this day primarily due to her personality as well as her business mindset and entrepreneurship. From launching her own Spotify podcast to collaborating with Erewhon on viral smoothies and desserts, she’s turned her personal brand into a powerhouse. But one passion has remained constant throughout her journey: coffee.
In 2020, she transformed that passion into Chamberlain Coffee, a brand that disrupted the industry with organic, specialty-grade coffee, matcha, canned drinks, and a strong online presence. Now, with the opening of its first physical location, Chamberlain Coffee is taking on Starbucks, Dunkin’, and other coffee giants in a whole new way.
Inside the Chamberlain Coffee Café
The new Westfield Century City location is designed to be more than just a coffee shop—it’s a space built for social moments, great energy, and an interactive experience, as described by the brand’s Chief Marketing Officer, Jeumana Jaber:
"This space is more than just a coffee shop—it’s a reflection of everything we’ve built over the years, bringing our love for organic, specialty-grade coffee to life in a way that’s interactive, shareable, and designed to create a real community."
So what can visitors expect?
☕ Signature Brews – The same high-quality coffee that made the brand famous.
🍵 Fan-Favorite Matcha – A staple in Emma’s daily routine, now available in-store. Designed for Social Sharing – Every detail of the café has been thoughtfully curated for aesthetic, Instagrammable moments.
Influencers and the Future of Coffee Culture
The launch of Chamberlain Coffee’s café highlights the growing influence of creator-led brands. What started as a YouTuber’s passion project is now a legitimate contender in the coffee industry. By creating a physical space, Emma Chamberlain is proving that the future of retail is experiential, blending brand storytelling, influencer marketing, and premium coffee into one.
As Jaber puts it:
"From the start, our goal has been to make high-quality coffee fun, approachable, and exciting, and this café is the next step in that journey."
