From Runway to Real Talk: Angelina Khube on Authentic Influence, Creative Freedom & Staying True to Herself

In an industry where polish often trumps personality, Angelina Khube brings a refreshing, no-filter approach to content creation. The model-turned-influencer, known for her effortless beauty routines and grounded mindset, invites Roe Magazine behind the scenes in an unfiltered GRWM session—equal parts makeup tutorial and intimate reflection on building a personal brand with purpose.

Skipping the traditional skincare steps (except a calming serum for her signature glow), Angelina dives straight into her minimalist but impactful makeup ritual. She opts for a BB crayon over foundation, explaining how she prefers a more breathable, natural base—one that complements her deeper body tone over her naturally fair face.

But makeup is only half the story.

“I was working only as a model, like, full time,” she shares. “Then I started realizing that I want to do more—be useful for people.” That shift in mindset led her to content creation, where she started showcasing more than beauty: her sense of humour, her values, and her identity.

With every swipe of contour and dab of concealer, Angelina reveals something more than just technique. She opens up about the intentionality behind her partnerships. “I’m not going to sign a partnership with a brand if I don’t like the product. I want my followers to trust me. If I promote something, it means I actually find it useful.”

That authenticity is key to her approach—and it shows.

Her advice for aspiring influencers? Stay true to yourself.

“You don’t have to try to be authentic. Just be you. Listen to your inner voice.”

It’s this belief that grounds her creative choices, from refusing to conform to industry pressure to embracing her heritage as an Ossetian woman living in Russia—something she openly discusses with pride, urging others to Google her little-known Caucasian nationality.

Beyond her candid thoughts, Angelina shares a few beauty secrets: using bronzer to create a soft, kitten-eye illusion, faking fuller lips with a precise brown liner, and embracing a whole lot of blush—especially for a night out. “Now I’m going to show you how much blush I really love,” she says, unapologetically swirling product onto her cheeks. “It’s night out, girls. I can go nuts—and I will.”

What makes this GRWM so magnetic isn’t just the aesthetic. It’s the balance of self-confidence and vulnerability. From past filming mishaps (a dirty mirror almost ruined a brand deal) to personal insecurities (considering a nose job, but deciding to embrace her natural look), Angelina shows that building a brand isn’t about perfection. It’s about connection.

She finishes the look with a Fenty Beauty gloss and one final message:

“Always be yourself and believe your instincts. You will never be wrong in that case. Don’t be afraid of trying. Don’t compare yourself to others. You are you.”

And that’s exactly what makes Angelina Khube not just an influencer—but an influence.
